The problem wasn't the model. It was how I was asking. For a long time, I assumed better models would produce better answers. Eventually I realized the model wasn't confused. My prompt was.
I built this site over four days with Claude. The work was good and it explained itself well, so I stopped checking it against my original brief. When I finally asked whether Claude had read that brief, the answer was no, and an hour earlier it had deleted content the brief required.
